This is the final booklet.

I researched psychogeograph and began to develop my own definition. Psychogeography to me meant the micro and macro levels of navigating a space, any space. I chose to depict this definition by navigating a microwave. I started looking up precedents on the Internet. I came across the history of microwaves, the stigma / urban legend of standing in front of a microwave, and how food reacts to a microwave. I experimented with putting different foods in the microwave to test those limits. I documented this process by taking before / after photos of the food. Since radiation was a term I came across a lot in my research, I decided to sketch the result of the nuked food as characters.

These are my character sketches of the food that had been zapped in the microwave.

I took these sketches to Adobe Illustrator and designed a set of character designs. I gave each of them a name and certain attributes and laid them out on Indesign as tradable cards. The booklet itself, when printed, would be a sort of alternative cook-book for these tradable playing card characters.  When I printed the booklet, I perforated the cards so they can tear out and be used as actual trading cards.
